Daangn Market (당근)

They are the same service. 당근 is romanised Danggeun, the company spells it Daangn, and Karrot is the brand it uses outside Korea. It started in July 2015 as Pangyo Market (판교장터), became 당근마켓 (Daangn Market) in October 2015, and the app is now called simply 당근. The company behind it is Danggeun Market Inc. (주식회사 당근마켓).

On daangn.com you can browse second-hand listings without the app: each one shows its title, price and neighbourhood. Its categories include digital devices, home appliances, men's fashion, pet supplies, children's books, plants, hobby and game items, and tickets.

Daangn is built for neighbours. Signing up asks for a phone number and your area, and trading is tied to a neighbourhood that the app verifies with your phone's location, so deals are meant to be closed in person between people living near each other.
