eBay Austria

Auction site · ebay.at

eBay Austria, at ebay.at, is eBay's site for Austria, online since the end of 2000, with German-language listings priced in euros. BuyHub lets you search it in English from anywhere, with prices in your currency, filters for item location and shipping, and alerts for new listings and auctions about to close.

eBay Austria in English

ebay.at works in German only: menus, help pages and nearly every listing. There is no English edition of the Austrian site, which is why so many people look for eBay Austria in English.

BuyHub handles the language for you. Type your search in English, BuyHub translates it into German, and the titles come back translated, so a search for pocket watch also finds Taschenuhr listings. Prices stay in euros on eBay; BuyHub shows them in your currency next to the original.

02Guide

Buying from ebay.at in the US, the UK or Hungary

Whether an Austrian seller ships abroad is up to the seller, and many only post within Austria or the EU. In BuyHub, the ships to filter keeps the listings that can reach your country, and the location filter shows what is actually in Austria.

From Hungary or anywhere else in the EU there are no customs duties. In Great Britain, eBay charges VAT at checkout on orders of £135 or less. In the United States, low-value parcels have paid duties since the duty-free de minimis allowance was suspended for every country on 29 August 2025, so check the import charges before you bid.

ebay.at or willhaben?

For classified ads and collection in person, Austria has willhaben, the classifieds marketplace founded in Vienna in 2006. eBay is where Austrian auctions and shipped items live. BuyHub searches willhaben and ebay.at, and ebay.de as well, so a single search can cover all three.

Sort by ending soonest to see which auctions close first, and set an auction alarm to get a reminder on your phone, in your browser or by email before the end. A saved radar keeps checking ebay.at even with your phone and computer switched off.
