OLX

OLX is a classifieds brand created in 2006 that runs independent sites across Europe, Asia and Latin America, in countries such as Poland, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Brazil. On each one, private individuals and businesses list everything from furniture and electronics to cars and property, both new and used. The usual route is to message the seller and close the deal in person, although in some countries, such as Poland and Romania, purchases can also be paid for and shipped through the platform.

In Brazil, OLX is one of the main channels of the second-hand market, carrying vintage electronics from Brazilian brands, retro toys, locally pressed vinyl, books and antique furniture that rarely leave the country. The other sites are just as local, with listings in Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Ukrainian and other languages, priced in each country's currency. Since most sellers are local, it is worth confirming in advance whether they ship abroad.
