Wallapop

Wallapop runs wallapop.com for Spain, it.wallapop.com for Italy, launched in September 2021, and pt.wallapop.com for Portugal, launched in October 2022. Its shipping service, Wallapop Envíos, covers Spain and also sends parcels to and from Italy and Portugal, with InPost between Spain and Italy and between Spain and Portugal. There are exceptions: no shipping to or from Ceuta, Melilla or the Canary Islands except within the islands, nothing from Spain to Madeira or the Azores, and Andorra is not available. No other countries are covered, so from the United States or Canada a purchase has to be arranged directly with the seller.

With Wallapop Envíos the buyer pays the postage and a mandatory Wallapop protection fee, both shown on the payment summary before confirming.

Wallapop did have a US business: in May 2016 it announced a merger with the classifieds app Letgo that put the US business under Letgo's control, and Letgo's North American business later passed to OfferUp in 2020. Since January 2026 Wallapop itself belongs to the Korean internet group Naver. There is no Wallapop for the US today. BuyHub lets you look through the Spanish catalogue from anywhere: filter by price, condition, category and items that can be shipped, sort by newest or by price, and save a radar that keeps watching Wallapop at any hour.

Wallapop was founded in Barcelona in 2013 and is one of the most widely used second-hand apps in Spain, with a presence in Italy and Portugal as well. Posting costs nothing. Deals are agreed in the app's chat, and the item then changes hands either at a meet-up or through Wallapop's own shipping service. Searches centre on what is for sale nearby, and professional sellers trade alongside private individuals, with new and used items in almost every category.

Retro video games, antiques, limited editions, old toys, discontinued products and trading cards are all plentiful on Wallapop, often straight from personal collections. It is also a source of editions made for southern European markets. In Spain, listings are in Spanish and prices in euros; since many sales are completed in person, it is worth confirming with the seller whether they ship to another country.
