OLX Egypt (Dubizzle Egypt)

In 2020 Dubizzle Group, the company behind dubizzle in the United Arab Emirates and the property portal Bayut, took over OLX Group's business in the Middle East and North Africa. In May 2023 the Egyptian site switched to the dubizzle name, but the old one has not quite disappeared: the page title still reads Dubizzle (OLX), and the Android app introduces itself with OLX Egypt is now Dubizzle Egypt.

Today Dubizzle Group runs dubizzle sites in Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and Kuwait, and describes dubizzle as the largest general classifieds platform in the Middle East and North Africa. The sites share a brand, not a catalogue: dubizzle.com.eg only shows ads from Egypt.

The English version lives at dubizzle.com.eg/en and the Arabic one at the main address, with a link to switch between them. The interface changes language, but each ad stays as its seller wrote it, often in Arabic. Dubizzle does not take part in the deals: you chat with the seller, and its safety advice is to meet in a safe public place, such as a metro station or a shopping mall, and close the deal in person. Its own payment options only pay for ad packages, not for the items.

Type your search in English and BuyHub shows the matching ads with their titles translated and each price in Egyptian pounds converted to your currency. Set a price range, choose new or used, and sort by newest or by price. With a radar on the search, BuyHub checks Dubizzle Egypt around the clock and tells you when a new ad fits. You can add OpenSooq Egypt or Facebook Marketplace to the same search.
