Kufar (Куфар)

Peer-to-peer marketplace · kufar.by

Kufar (Куфар) is one of the main classifieds marketplaces in Belarus, at kufar.by and in its own apps, in Russian and Belarusian. BuyHub turns an English search into a Russian one, so you can browse Kufar without reading Cyrillic, see rouble prices in your currency and get a warning when something new appears.

Buying on Kufar without meeting the seller

Many Kufar deals are still arranged by message and settled in person, but private listings can also travel with Kufar Delivery (Куфар Доставка). The seller drops the parcel at a Belpost or Europost office and the buyer collects it at another branch anywhere in Belarus. Belpost takes parcels of up to 5 kg, Europost up to 2 kg.

When the buyer pays online with Kufar Pay (Куфар Оплата), the money waits in an account at Kufar's partner bank and the seller is paid once the parcel has been collected; a cancelled, undelivered or refused order goes back to the card. Paying by card costs the buyer a 3% fee. All of this works only inside Belarus, so it does not replace a seller's agreement to post abroad.

Kufar Belarus in English

Kufar's own language switch only offers Belarusian and Russian. BuyHub sends your English search to Kufar in Russian, shows the titles translated and adds the price in your currency next to the one in roubles. You can keep only listings that can be paid through Kufar, set a price range and sort by newest or by highest price; a radar then keeps an eye on Kufar for you day and night.

03About Kufar

Kufar is one of the main classifieds sites in Belarus. Private individuals and businesses both advertise there, offering new and second-hand goods across all kinds of categories, from everyday items to vintage pieces. The site is available in Russian and Belarusian, and dealings are direct: buyer and seller talk by message, prices are usually open to negotiation, and extra photos or details about condition can be requested before deciding.

Its appeal for collectors is the local flavour: Soviet-era objects, retro consoles, old toys, electronics, books and antiques that rarely reach Western marketplaces. Listings are usually in Russian and prices in Belarusian roubles. Sellers are mostly based in Belarus; whether an item can go abroad has to be agreed with each one, so it is worth asking before committing.
