Facebook Marketplace Estonia

Marketplace has no separate Estonian site: it is part of facebook.com for everyone, and the interface follows the language set in your Facebook account, Estonian included. Listings are written in whatever language the seller prefers, which in Estonia often means Estonian or Russian.

BuyHub takes that barrier out of the search. You type in English, BuyHub translates your term, and titles come back translated, so an Estonian ad for a jalgratas and a Russian one for a велосипед both reach you as bicycles.

BuyHub offers Tallinn and Tartu as search locations for Estonia. Choose one, then filter by price, condition, category or date listed, and sort by newest, price or distance. Prices are in euros, and BuyHub also shows them in your own currency.

The search runs through your own connection, using the free BuyHub extension for Chrome or Firefox or the BuyHub app. Once saved as a radar, it keeps going on its own, even overnight with your devices switched off.

The deal itself stays between people: Facebook's shipping and purchase protection are only available in the United States, so in Estonia you message the seller and agree on pickup or delivery.

For clothes, Vinted also operates in Estonia, with shipping arranged through the platform. Osta.ee, which began as an auction site for private sellers, is Estonia's long-standing online trading site. Marketplace is the most local of the three, with furniture, tools and household goods that are rarely worth posting. In BuyHub you can search Marketplace and Vinted Estonia in one go.
