Facebook Marketplace Cyprus

Cyprus is on Facebook's official list of Marketplace countries. Marketplace runs inside Facebook: on a computer from the left menu of facebook.com, on a phone in the Facebook app. Prices in the Republic of Cyprus are in euros. Facebook's shipping and purchase protection exist only in the United States, so on the island the buyer messages the seller, agrees on a price and collects the item, or arranges delivery privately. Facebook also expects Marketplace users to be adults with an active Facebook account, logged in.

Because almost every deal ends with a handover, the town you search from matters more than the size of the catalogue. A cheap wardrobe in Limassol is not much use to someone in Nicosia without a van.

BuyHub lets you search Marketplace Cyprus from Nicosia or Limassol. Type your search in English, filter by price, condition, category or date listed, and sort by newest, price or distance to see what is closest first.

On a computer, BuyHub reaches Facebook through its free extension for Chrome or Firefox; on a phone, through the BuyHub app. A saved radar keeps checking even when both are off, which helps with things that go within hours, such as cheap furniture or a sought-after console.

Vendora, a classifieds platform that operates in Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria, is another place Cypriots list second-hand goods. Some sellers post on both, sometimes at different prices. In BuyHub you can put Marketplace and Vendora in the same search and compare the results in one list.
