dba.dk

dba.dk is in Danish, which is why so many people look for dba dk English or dba dk po polsku. With BuyHub you type in English, or in another of the languages BuyHub supports, the term is translated into Danish, and titles come back translated. Filter by price, condition, private or business seller, listing type and date listed, and sort by newest, price or distance.

BuyHub searches dba.dk straight from the website, with nothing to install and no DBA account. A saved radar keeps checking even when your phone and computer are off.

eBay bought DBA in 2008 for DKK 2.1 billion. When eBay sold its classifieds business, the Norwegian group Schibsted took over the Danish sites directly, and Schibsted Marketplaces has since renamed itself Vend. DBA now sits in the same group as FINN in Norway, Blocket in Sweden and Tori in Finland.

That shows on the site. dba.dk listings now carry delivery options and free-shipping badges, and some are marked Fiks færdig, the shipping-and-payment service FINN also uses in Norway.

The name dba.dk comes from Den Blå Avis, “The Blue Newspaper”, a classified-ads paper first printed in 1981. It stopped appearing in print in 2014, but by then the brand had long since moved online, where it remains one of the most-used buy-and-sell sites in Denmark. Both private individuals and businesses advertise, and the range is broad: cars and other vehicles, electronics, household goods and plenty more.

Selling on rather than throwing away is a habit in Denmark, which is why many items arrive well looked after: retro consoles and games, vintage electronics, vinyl and trading cards appear regularly. Ads are in Danish and prices in Danish kroner (DKK). Almost all sellers are based in Denmark, so anyone buying from abroad should ask whether they will ship before committing.
